Roma coach Jose Mourinho refused to discuss the decisions of referee Fabio Maresca in the 2-1 defeat to Milan. ‘I won’t talk about the referee’.

The Giallorossi coach was fined €10,000 for his ‘ironic and disrespectful’ conduct towards the match official after the final whistle on Sunday.

When asked about the refereeing decisions and the differences between match officials and sanctions in other leagues, the Portuguese tactician waved away the reporters.

“I’m not talking about the referee and I’m not talking about Serie A,” Mourinho told the reporters at the press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League.

And Mourinho reiterated his stance when the journalists tried to get him to address the differences in the performances between the two games against Cagliari in Sardinia and Milan at the Olimpico.

“I’m not talking about what we did in Serie A,” he added.

Roma are fourth in Serie A after 11 games and have picked up six points in three Conference League games, as the coach stressed the match against the Norwegians is ‘not decisive’.
