Roma boss José Mourinho didn’t see big games and clubs in Champions League this week but admits he enjoyed Inter vs. Liverpool more than PSG vs. Real Madrid.

The Special One was asked his thoughts on Europe’s elite competition on the eve of the tomorrow’s Serie A clash between the Giallorossi and Hellas Verona.

“I am privileged, I’ve taken charge of more than 150 Champions League games, so I don’t complain now that we play in the Conference League,” the Special One said as quoted by ForzaRoma.info.

“I feel no nostalgia, I didn’t see big games. I didn’t like PSG-Real Madrid, while Inter-Liverpool was nice.”

Mourinho has won the Champions League twice during his coaching career. The first time in 2004 with Porto and the second one with Inter in 2010. The Nerazzurri suffered a 2-0 loss against Liverpool on Wednesday night, while PSG beat Real Madrid with a last-gasp goal of Kylian Mabppé at the Parc des Princes.

Roma sit six points behind fourth-placed Juventus in the Serie A table.
