Roma have taken off from Fiumicino Airport for their pre-season retreat in Portugal without four players on the market: Matias Vina, Eldor Shomurodov, Bryan Reynolds and Gonzalo Villar.

The Giallorossi left the capital on Saturday afternoon. They will continue pre-season training in Portugal, precisely in the region of Algarve.

Mourinho has named his 24-man squad list, dropping the likes of Vina, Shomurodov, Reynolds and Villar who are not part of the project and remain on the market.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma are also willing to listen to offers for Rick Karsdorp, Ola Solbakken and Roger Ibanez, but they are all part of the squad for the pre-season retreat.

The team travelling to Portugal includes new signings Houssem Aouar, Evan N’Dicka and Rasmus Kristensen.

Roma will face Braga in a friendly encounter on July 26 at 21:00 CEST. They are also expected to meet Farense on August 2, but the date and kick-off time have not been officially confirmed yet.

Roma will remain in Portugal until August 3. They were expected to take part in a pre-season tour in Asia, but cancelled the trip and a friendly game against Tottenham in Singapore as they reportedly hadn’t received the first instalment payment from the tournament’s organisers.
