Jose Mourinho rewarded his players and staff after their victorious season opener against Salernitana, buying them 60 pizzas to celebrate.

The Giallorossi got off to a positive start in the league last night thanks to a Bryan Cristante goal in Salerno, enough to secure all three points. Roma showed good signs in the match and Paulo Dybala had a decent debut, exciting the fans ahead of the rest of the campaign.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, after the match Mourinho decided to treat his players and staff to a tasty celebratory dinner, picking up as many as 60 pizzas for the post-match meal.

The Roman club have had an exciting summer transfer window so far, picking up Dybala and Nemanja Matic on free transfers and signing PSG’s Georginio Wijnaldum on loan. Roma are also reportedly waiting to snap up Andrea Belotti on a free transfer, needing to re-home Eldor Shomurodov before they can close out a deal.

  1. My only thought, bet they were good pizza’s. Not like the greasy crap we have over here in North America.
