Max Allegri and Jose Mourinho are by far the top earning coaches in Serie A this season, with almost double the salary of Simone Inzaghi at Inter and dwarfing Stefano Pioli’s Milan wage.
Calcio e Finanza calculated that Juventus and Roma both pay their tacticians circa €7m per season net.
They are by a long way the top earners in Serie A this season, as Inzaghi is in third place at Inter with just €4m.
Maurizio Sarri at Lazio and Napoli’s Luciano Spalletti both receive €3m per season.
Gian Piero Gasperini picks up €2.2m from Atalanta, while Stefano Pioli of joint leaders Milan earns the same as Bologna’s Sinisa Mihajlovic and Torino’s Ivan Juric at €2m net.
The top 10 is rounded out by Vincenzo Italiano at Fiorentina with €1.2m.
Walter Mazzarri gets €1m at Cagliari, Davide Ballardini €0.9m for Genoa, Alessio Dionisi €0.85m for Sassuolo, Roberto D’Aversa €0.75m for Sampdoria and Thiago Motta €0.7m at Spezia.
Luca Gotti earns just €600,000 net per season for Udinese, both Paolo Zanetti at Venezia and Empoli’s Aurelio Andreazzoli earn €500,000.
There are no figures yet for Igor Tudor and Stefano Colantuono, who were hired by Verona and Salernitana after the season had already begun.

Earning so much but letting see so little football in their teams……
5 million between Mourinho and Pioli. Shows what a big name can get you.
Pioli definitely deserves more.
