José Mourinho was at the Stadio Tre Fontane to watch a Coppa Italia Primavera game between Roma and Napoli on Wednesday and was seen joking with four players he has promoted to the senior team.

The Special One was in the stands to watch Roma Primavera’s 2-1 win over Napoli on Wednesday in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.

He’s often attended games of the Primavera team this season, but this time he was spotted with a few young players from his Roma side. Benjamin Tahirović, Edoardo Bove, Nicola Zalewski and Pietro Boer. The first three made his senior Roma debut under Mourinho, while Boer, 20, is the third-choice keeper and made his only appearance with the senior team under Paulo Fonseca in 2020.

Mourinho was in a good mood and was seen joking and smiling with their ‘kids’ as he’s often called them, during the current campaign.

The former Inter and Chelsea coach turns 60 today and Roma have wished him a happy birthday on social media.
