Roma secured their first win over Atalanta since 2017 in their dominant 4-1 display at the Gewiss Stadium yesterday.

The Giallorossi won in impressive fashion in Bergamo, with a brace from Tammy Abraham one of the highlights as the Roman side took all three points in the Lombardy city. Nicolo Zaniolo and Chris Smalling also found the back of the net in the game.

The clinical display is a clear example of Jose Mourinho’s effect on Roma and has given the fans something to smile about ahead of the Christmas break.

Roma now sit fifth in the Serie A table after 18 games, five points behind fourth place Napoli, who face Milan this evening.
