In New York for a friendly against Real Madrid on Wednesday, Adriano Galliani will speak to Real Madrid about bringing Kaka back to Milan with him, but Jose Mourinho could scupper the deal.

The Italians have already had several meetings discussing the now 30-year old Brazilian playmaker without being able to agree on a fee. Vice-President Galliani listed the wages of the player as the biggest obstacle, while leaving hope for Milan fans by stating “he is part of our history.”

Now it seems another hitch has hit the deal, as Real Madrid Coach Mourinho, who previously stated that “anything can happen” regarding the Brazilian, now seems to demand a big say in the deal taking Kaka to Milan.

According to reports from Italy, it is said that Mourinho is constantly calling President Florentino Perez, telling him not to let his friendship with Galliani make him lower his demands and agree a deal that won’t benefit the Spanish club.

Kaka, who left Milan in 2009, is however said to be keen on a return to Milan and has already agreed economic terms with his former club, reports are suggesting.

Though Mourinho may affect the opinion of his President, the final decision still lies in the hands of Perez and the situation is looking to hit the final stretch when the heads of the two powerhouses meet on Monday or Tuesday.
