Mourinho left Inter last summer after a two-year spell at San Siro in which he won everything, completing the treble in his final season.

Speaking after Real Madrid booked their place in the next round with a 3-0 win at home to Lyon, Mourinho was asked about the upcoming draw.

"I wouldn't like to face Inter now," he said. "It would be too difficult for me. I would prefer to find Inter in front of me again at Wembley.

"It's normal that we are in the Quarter-Finals. We are Real Madrid. It was a victory against a very strong team. I believe that we deserved to win for everything that we did.

"An important team awaits us. But for a question of emotions, I would not like to face Inter or Chelsea. But if it were to happen, obviously we would do it. Even if I would prefer it not to happen against these two teams," he concluded.
