Inter have reportedly rejected an initial €8m offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Thiago Motta.

The French club have confirmed an interest in the central midfielder and the player himself is ready to move on should the Nerazzurri agree to a sale.

According to speculation on Thursday, the French outfit have tabled a bid but it has been snubbed by the Italian club.

Although the player’s contract is set to expire in June 2013, the San Siro giants consider €8m as too low for the 29-year-old.

Inter are thought to have spent €14m on him in the summer of 2009 after they signed him from Genoa.

PSG are now expected to increase their offer in an attempt to net him before the transfer window closes next week.

The Brazilian-born Italian international has scored three Serie A goals in 10 appearances so far this term.
