The 37-year-old relaunched his playing career with the Rossoblu during the 2008-09 campaign as he went on to join Inter and Paris Saint-Germain.

He moved into coaching with PSG’s Under-19 team last season but vacated the role over the summer.

The former Italy international is also currently enrolled on an FIGC coaching course at Coverciano.
