Outlets in Italy have suggested that Thiago Motta should try and change his Juventus tactics in order to accommodate both Dusan Vlahovic and January signing Randal Kolo Muani into his strongest starting XI.
The Bianconeri strengthened their attacking department with the addition of Kolo Muani on a straight loan deal from PSG for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, and while he has enjoyed a successful start to life in Turin, Vlahovic has started from the bench in the team’s last three Serie A matches.
Kolo Muani, meanwhile, has hit three from his first two appearances in Serie A.

Calls for Thiago Motta to change Juventus tactics to help Vlahovic and Kolo Muani
Though Kolo Muani has been in fine form in front of goal at the beginning of his Juventus career, La Gazzetta dello Sport have published an article suggesting that his inclusion shouldn’t come at Vlahovic’s expense.

The Pink Paper suggests that it is down to the coach, Thiago Motta, to find a way to fit both players into his strongest starting XI.
There are suggestions that a striker partnership of Kolo Muani and Vlahovic could even rival Inter’s successful combination of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
Thiago Motta typically prefers a 4-2-3-1 system, and though it is unlikely that he will completely overhaul his tactical set-up midway through the season, there is still a possibility for both Kolo Muani and Vlahovic to play together at the same time.
For instance, Kolo Muani could potentially operate further out wide, or alternatively off the shoulder of his teammate through the middle.
