Catania boss Marco Giampaolo has a plan to take points off Lazio today. “I'm counting on the explosive pace of Taka Morimoto.”

The Japanese striker has barely featured recently, but will be given a starring role this afternoon as Maxi Lopez sits out a ban.

Ciro Capuano should be fit or at least on the bench, but the injury list includes Simone Pesce, Pablo Barrientos, Nicolas Spolli, Giuseppe Bellusci, Blazej Augustyn, Gennaro Delvecchio and Ezequiel Carboni.

“Cristian Llama will play from the start with Morimoto up front,” explained the Coach.

“I expect a great deal from Morimoto, as this game really suits his characteristics. I'm counting on his explosive pace and I've seen him in extraordinary form.”

The forward impressed in the Coppa Italia midweek, scoring a brace in their 5-1 thrashing of Brescia.

“I got some good indicators from that match on our forward play. We had already tested the 4-3-1-2 system in the past and we've got some interesting approaches prepared for Lazio.

“As for defending, we have to watch out for their counter-attacks, as Mauro Zarate, Sergio Floccari and Hernanes can make the difference.”
