Injury problems are piling up for Torino ahead of their game against Milan, with news David Zima will be out for over three months, Samuele Ricci for six weeks and Pietro Pellegri’s return has stalled again.
The Serie A fixture is set for Friday at 19.45 GMT at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Toro go into this game with morale boosted by seven points in three rounds, including victories over Fiorentina and Udinese.
However, coach Ivan Juric has once again been forced to deal with a tidal wave of injury problems.
Defender Zima was already known to be out for a while, but the latest estimate after surgery on the meniscus in his knee is over three months in the stands.
Midfielder Ricci limped off during the Udinese match and has been diagnosed with a lesion to the left calf muscle, so he is out for circa six weeks.
Pellegri had been hoping to make his comeback against his old club, but another muscular issue in his right thigh during training has changed those plans.
That does not include Valentin Lazaro, who is out for six weeks, while Ivan Ilic, Koffi Djidji and Nemanja Radonjic need to be evaluated.
