According to Sky Sport Italia, the meeting between Juventus directors and Paulo Dybala’s representatives, which was supposed to take place tomorrow, has been postponed.

The Argentinean’s contract expires at the end of the season and the two parties were expected to meet tomorrow in a crucial meeting for the player’s extension in Turin.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia, the summit has been postponed and won’t take place tomorrow. Dybala’s entourage, including his agent Jorge Antun, have already arrived in Turin, but it’s still unclear why the meeting won’t take place.

The Bianconeri will reportedly offer Dybala a lower salary than the one agreed a few months ago. Dybala had accepted to sign a €10m-a-year deal including add-ons, but it is understood that the offer is no longer on the table.

Juventus’ original proposal was €8m in fixed bonus plus €2m add-ons, while the new offer should be slightly different €7m (slightly less than his current one) plus €3m bonuses.

Barcelona, Inter and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with signing Dybala if he fails to sign a new deal with the Bianconeri.

10 thought on “More doubts emerge over Dybala’s future as meeting with Juventus postponed”
  1. I would let him walk and focus on Joao Felix, Zaniolo and recalling Fagioli from Cremona. Guy is inconsistent and injury prone imo. Theres also the issue of him doing little in the UCL aside from the game v Barca in 2017.
    Felix-Zaniolo-Chiesa
    Vlahovic
thats amazing imo Morata, Fagioli and Cuadrado as first subs

  2. Frattesi/Felix/Zaniolo/would also add immense quality to the team without going crazy on transfer fees

  3. Its wonder to get felix butbI still doubt that possible to sign him without 100mln, its not real to talk about him.

  4. Felix would cost 65-70m euro, but not renewing Dybala (25m euro) and selling Sandro(15 m euro) and Rabiot (to Chelsea?) for 20m euro + salary saved would get us Felix imo

  5. I’d go 4-2-3-1
    Danilo-Bonucci-De Ligt-L Pellegrini
    Zakaria-Locatelli
    Joao Felix-Zaniolo-Chiesa
    Vlahovic
Thats a fearsome starting xi imo plus having Juan, Fagioli and Morata as subs? Bayern-level bench imo

  6. Rugani, Demiral(?), De Winter, Frattesi(?), Arthur Melo, McKennie, Cuadrado, Soule, Fagioli, Morata and possibly a free transfer in Kramaric

  7. @alex: Not going crazy on transfer fees? So you think Juve can get Felix for a bargain after Atletico spent a huge amount for him? 😀

As for the meeting it kind of makes sense to postpone it. Players and staff can now focuss on the upcoming games. It is also important to see if Juve advances to the next round in the CL, so they can secure some extra money if they do so. So the postponment of the meeting does not necessarily mean that there are any doubts about Dybala as they have scheduled all meetings for extensions for the time at international break.

  8. @Gio 70m euro for Felix is relatively cheap considering his age and skill. Juve would save circa 70m euro selling Sandro and Rabiot and not renewing Dybala between projected salary and potential transfer fees. That means 20- 25m euro for Frattesi and 30m on Zaniolo. Fagioli will return from Cremonese and Kramaric is a free transfer. Thats 50-55m euro which is net spend, but Juve would have an incredibly strong starting xi and good depth on the bench.

  9. @Gio Danilo-Bonucci-De Ligt-L Pellegrini
    Zakaria-Locatelli
    Zaniolo-Joao Felix-Chiesa
    Vlahovic
thats a very strong starting xi
