“I would like to thank the Indonesian fans and all of Indonesia for the warmth, joy and passion that we were able to experience,” said Moratti on the official club website.
“I was only able to see it through the television images and the stories from those who were in Jakarta over the last few days, as it was not possible for me to be there due to work commitments.
“I felt moved and happy, which makes me even more eager to work for this wonderful fans and think of how we can spend the future together with the emotions and victories Inter will soon return to enjoying.
“Indonesia, I will always be thankful to you and preserve these fantastic sensations forever.”
