Inter President Massimo Moratti says he hasn’t yet discussed the 4-0 loss to Roma with boss Claudio Ranieri.

The Milan giants were comprehensively beaten at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday by a rampant Luis Enrique XI.

“I’ve spoken to nobody after the Roma game,” the oil baron stated on Monday afternoon.

“Our last match wasn’t a match, therefore I’d prefer to not give a footballing judgement – otherwise it would be very critical.

“Some people have to realise that the championship is not finished yet and it would be a good idea to give their soul to this shirt, because we have to do a lot better.”

Sunday was definitely a bad day at the office for the Beneamata, but Moratti was able to take some consolation from results elsewhere.

Juventus and Milan didn’t win so it would have been even worse had they collected victories. Let’s just be content with that.”

Juventus were held to a 0-0 draw by Siena, while Milan and Napoli also ended goalless.

Inter are fifth in the table, nine points behind leaders Juve and eight shy of their city rivals.
