Former Inter President Massimo Moratti says Yaya Toure would be an ‘interesting’ signing for the club.

The Nerazzurri have been heavily linked with the Ivorian, who is expected to leave Manchester City this summer.

“I don’t think he’d be easy to get, as he’s tracked by a lot of clubs,” Moratti told FCInterNews.

“But he’d be an interesting move. There’s a new leadership, so we’ll have to call it a ‘Thohir move’ rather than a ‘Moratti move’.”

Moratti also discussed the club’s ambitions for the season, and believes the Beneamata can make the Europa League.

“The Europa League is a very attainable goal, considering how the team is doing, especially in terms of desire.

“In addition, we’re now seeing certain patterns of play. We were lucky enough to play against an opponent who were a little short [Lazio were reduced to nine men on Sunday] but that’s fate.”
