The two businessmen met in Paris today for more advanced negotiations, though talks have been on-going for several months.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Sport Mediaset, the Corriere dello Sport and ANSA news agency, a deal has been struck.
Moratti will retain 30 per cent of the club’s shares, but sell the majority 70 per cent to Indonesian magnate Thohir.
It is claimed the paperwork could be signed as early as next week, as financial consultants and lawyers from both sides were present at the Paris meeting. However, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the announcement won't be made until three weeks from now.
This would be the end of Moratti’s 18-year tenure in charge of Inter, though he has suggested he’ll remain at the club in some capacity.
