The private equity fund BC Partners have reportedly started an analysis of the financial situation of Inter ahead of a possible takeover.

Some reports in Italy claim BC partners would only buy a stake in Inter, while the economic newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore suggests Suning would sell a majority stake in the club.

“I would be sorry if the Zhang family sells Inter,” Moratti told La Repubblica newspaper.

“They didn’t only have the money, but also education, a familiar structure and the respect for Inter’s values.”

The Nerazzurri face Juventus at the Giuseppe Meazza in a key Serie A clash this evening.
