Inter chief Massimo Moratti has now demanded a Serie A win after the 1-0 victory at Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Nerazzurri have had a problematic start to the season, having lost four of their six games domestically, but picked up their second straight win in Europe.

"The team showed qualities they seemed to have previously lost," Moratti told Sky Italia. "They were astute and intelligent.

"It wasn't easy to do that in such a delicate moment. It was an important and necessary win," he continued.

"Now we have to find some more confidence so that we can continue to do well in Europe and start putting some points on the board in the League.

"I think all this side needs is to get its confidence back and then we'll start winning."

Asked whether the victory in France could be a much-needed turning point in their season, Moratti made no promises.

"Let's take it one game at a time," he said cautiously. "After the Champions League we can now focus on the League at home.

"For today I just want to thank all of the players as it's not nice when you're getting bad results."

Inter are next in action at the weekend when they entertain Chievo Verona, a side who held Juventus” data-scaytid=”9″>Juventus to a 0-0 draw on Sunday.
