Inter President Massimo Moratti travelled to Florence with the squad by train and sees similarities between Andrea Stramaccioni and Vincenzo Montella.

These are two of the youngest tacticians in Serie A and Montella has been linked with a future at San Siro.

“They are two young Coaches who are making their mark and I can see many qualities in them both,” Moratti told Brivido Sportivo.

“They share courage and clarity, passion for football, a direct way of explaining situations that is never banal. They are modern Coaches, at the vanguard also in terms of communication, and reliable figures.”

This week former Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”16″>Fiorentina Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, now in charge of the Serbia national team, said he’d love to one day take over at Inter.

“I say he would certainly have deserved to sit on the Inter bench for his impeccable behaviour with us, his sense of fair play and also because I consider him an excellent Coach,” replied Moratti.

“It is logical that at this moment our bench is filled by Stramaccioni, who is doing very well and takes away any other tactician’s hopes of working with our squad.”

Fiorentina had a remarkable start to the season and were mentioned as Scudetto contenders, but have stuttered badly in 2013.

“This ‘off period’ is only relative to the great first few months. Even when they didn’t get the results, the team did not play badly,” assured Moratti.

“The results take nothing away from the quality and danger of the Viola squad, while their position in the table means any target is still within reach.

“Which Fiorentina player do I admire the most? Well, certainly Stevan Jovetic. Even if he is not in his best form right now, he remains a dangerous player.”

Tomorrow evening’s game will be a special one for Inter’s Zdravko Kuzmanovic, who returns to face old club Fiorentina after a spell in Germany with Stuttgart.

“He has only recently arrived, but you can already tell he is a very organised player who can be very useful to Inter and he’s a polite, respectful young man.”
