Former Inter President Massimo Moratti sees a “more balanced” Serie A, and looks ahead to the Juventus match.

The Nerazzurri are second in the table, two points behind surprise leaders Fiorentina, and hold an eight-point lead over the Bianconeri.

“I don’t know if it’s more balanced or if the overall level is lower,” Moratti told Mediaset.

“However, it’s a League which gives everyone the conditions to hope.

“I hope the international break can be used for everyone [at Inter] to recharge their batteries, though we did well against Sampdoria.

“Of course, it will could also allow Juve to recharge, so we’ll have to see who can do more.”

The Nerazzurri have not beaten the Old Lady at San Siro since 2010, and Moratti hopes a win on October 18 can be a good omen.

“When we beat them then, we won the Scudetto, maybe if we win the next game we’ll succeed again. We all know how it ended then, so we hope it’s an auspicious sign.”
