Massimo Moratti has revealed that he sensed “tension throughout the summer” at Inter after reflecting on Roberto Mancini’s exit.
Mancini was eventually replaced by Frank de Boer at the beginning of August, prompting Moratti to suggest the departing Coach’s relationship with Inter was “destined to end”, and the former President has since elaborated on why he felt that way.

“It seemed to me there was tension throughout the summer,” he told FCInterNews.
“There was a feeling that something might happen, and indeed it happened.”
