Alvaro Morata’s future at Juventus seems in doubt as the Bianconeri have reportedly set their sights on Mauro Icardi and Dusan Vlahovic.

Morata returned to Turin from Atletico Madrid in 2020 on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

The Bianconeri paid €20m for his two-year loan and can make his move permanent for €35m at the end of the current campaign.

However, according to multiple reports in Italy, the Serie A giants have made Dusan Vlahovic their priority target for the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport adds that PSG striker Mauro Icardi is also on the Bianconeri’s shortlist with the Old Lady who could make an attempt to sign the former Inter captain as soon as in January.

If either Icardi or Vlahovic joined Juventus, there would be no space for Morata and, more importantly, Juventus would not have the budget to make his loan move permanent.

Il Corriere dello Sport highlights how Juventus will need to pay the transfer fee for Federico Chiesa at the end of the season.

One year ago, the Italian winger moved to Turin on a €10m loan with an obligation to buy for €40m plus €10m add-ons.

Morata is currently out of action with an injury but is Juventus’ best scorer this season, along with Paulo Dybala, with three goals in seven appearances.

  1. i think morata knows he has to score 20 goals this season or else he will be back at a.madrid

  2. Don’t understand how Juve are allowed to create these one buyer sales, like they did with Chiesa, it decimates Serie A, Juve shodnt be allowed so much leverage

  3. Tevez, Pjaca, Bernardeschi, Chiesa, and now this.. Vlahovic. The list of “Milan/Inter‘s target goes to Juventus” is added. Hmmm, this explains why some idiot in this blog hate Juve so much. LMAO

  4. @Peter: Rocco [owner of Fiorentina] is a Juventus fan. So he was happy to make the perfect Chiesa deal for Piemonte Calcio.

Now Vlahovic is up next, he will be more than happy to bend over Juventus terms. So if you have the chance, please bet the Inter are not getting Vlahovic.
