Sky Sport Italia reports that Alvaro Morata is undergoing medical tests in Madrid for Milan and will sign a contract with the Rossoneri later today.

Morata will soon become a new Milan player.

Sky Sport Italia’s reporter Gianluca Di Marzio says that the 31-year-old is currently undergoing medical examinations in a private clinic in Madrid.

Morata undergoing medical in Madrid before signing Milan contract

Milan directors have arrived in the Spanish capital to follow Morata’s tests and will put pen to paper on an agreement with the Spaniard later today.

According to the report, Morata will sign his contract with Milan at a notary office in the Spanish capital after passing medical examinations.

Milan will pay a €13m clause to sign the ex-Juventus forward from Atletico Madrid. Morata will sign a €5m-a-year deal until 2028 with an option for a further campaign.

A former Juventus striker, Morata spent four years in Turin, scoring 59 goals in 185 matches with the Bianconeri.

In the last campaign with Atletico, he netted 21 times in 48 games across all competitions and during the latest Euros, he found the net once in seven appearances.
