Alvaro Morata has emerged as a primary transfer target for Inter and Roma, but Juventus have also met the striker’s entourage.

The Atletico Madrid forward is tipped to return to Serie A with Inter and Roma who have already held talks with his entourage. Morata’s agents are in Italy and met Beppe Marotta on Tuesday.

Sky Sport Italia claims Inter have made a verbal offer worth €15m, but Atletico don’t want to sell for less than Morata’s €21m clause. All Italian sports papers confirm the Colchoneros’ stance on Wednesday morning.

Today’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 3) claims that Juventus directors Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna also met with the strikers’ representative on Tuesday morning before their summit with Inter.

Morata is a potential target for the Old Lady, but Giuntoli said on Tuesday that the Bianconeri wouldn’t complete new signings if they don’t sell some players first.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma are still leading the race for Morata, having already reached an agreement with the player. However, club owners don’t want to invest €21m in his signature while José Mourinho is pushing to work with Morata at the Stadio Olimpico. The Special One hopes the Friedkins will make an effort to bring Morata to the capital, but it’s highly unlikely to see them invest €21m in a 31-year-old striker.
