While Luis Suarez is heading to Juventus, he could be joined by Alvaro Morata, who Spanish and Italian reports claim has asked to leave Atletico Madrid.

Suarez is in advanced negotiations with Barcelona to terminate his contract by mutual consent, but could simply be sold for a nominal fee of circa €1.5m, similar to the Ivan Rakitic move to Sevilla.

He might not be the only forward coming to Juve from La Liga, because Cuatro.com and the Corriere dello Sport both claim that Morata could make a return to Turin.

The Spaniard turns 28 next month and spent two years at Juventus from 2014-16, Real Madrid paying €10m to buy him back from that loan spell.

Morata has since gone on to big money moves for Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, but Cuatro.com claim he is unhappy at the lack of playing time and wants a return to Italy.

There are personal reasons too, as his wife is Italian.

However, the Corriere dello Sport maintains Atletico Madrid are in no rush to let Morata leave, especially without recouping their almost €60m investment.
