Alvaro Morata scored for Spain in the Nations League this evening and confessed his future at Juventus ‘is not up to me.’
The centre-forward opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw with Portugal in Seville on Thursday evening.
His future is up in the air, as Juventus do not seem ready to activate their option to buy after a two-year loan spell from Atletico Madrid.
The Bianconeri are trying to negotiate a discount and could let him leave.
“It’s not up to me, I can’t do anything about it,” Morata told Relevo after scoring his 25th goal in 52 senior caps for Spain.
“My wife and children will follow me wherever I need to go. I do have preferences and options, but I want to go where the club is interested in playing me.”
The 29-year-old scored 12 goals and contributed nine assists in 48 competitive games for Juventus this season.
An absolutely lethal counter attack to give Spain the lead against Portugal! 🇪🇸
