Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has been linked with a return to Serie A, with both Milan and Juventus reportedly interested in the Spaniard.

Morata’s contract at the Wanda Metropolitano expires in June 2024, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he is Milan’s primary target to strengthen their attacking department next season.

His price tag is in the region of €15m, claims the pink paper. According to the report, Morata has also received offers from several MLS clubs, ready to sign him at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old has one more option in Italy, as, according to Tuttosport, Juventus continue monitoring their ex-striker.

Morata already played for four seasons in Turin, scoring 59 goals in 185 appearances. The Old Lady, however, can only sign the Spaniard if he accepts to take a pay cut, given that the club aims to reduce the wage bill.

Morata is not Juventus’ only target in Madrid as Atletico’s sporting director Andrea Berta is also an option to replace Federico Cherubini at the end of the season. According to the report, the Italian is Juventus’ primary target for the role.
