Alvaro Morata assures Juventus were ‘not worried’ by their difficulties this season and must focus on the positives after their 3-0 Champions League win away to Malmo.

The Old Lady had a dire start to the season in Serie A, picking up one point from three rounds, but got back on track with this victory in Sweden.

Alex Sandro’s header opened the scoring, followed by Morata winning a penalty converted by Paulo Dybala, then the Spaniard scored the third moments later.

Champions League | Malmo 0-3 Juventus: Off the mark in Sweden

“It was important to win today and start the Champions League on the right foot. We put in a solid performance, there are many positives we can build on, not just tonight, but in the other games too.

“Sometimes football is like that, incidents can make the difference between a win, draw or defeat, but we were not worried. I’ve been through these situations a few times at Juventus too. I know it’s difficult at times, but we all have to be positive, the club, the players, the fans, and work on what needs improving.”

Juve are top of their Champions League group with three points and a 3-0 result, while Chelsea needed a Romelu Lukaku effort to squeeze past Zenit St. Petersburg 1-0.
