Juventus forward Alvaro Morata has agreed personal terms with Barcelona ahead of a possible move.
The 29-year-old Spaniard has not convinced coach Massimiliano Allegri this season and he seems destined to leave the Bianconeri in next month’s transfer window, with the Turin side now searching for a replacement.
As reported by Romeo Agresti, Morata has agreed to an 18-month contract with Barcelona, meaning the Catalan side now need to find an agreement with Juventus before a deal can be completed.
Juventus want to find a replacement for the 29-year-old Spanish forward before agreeing to a deal, with current options being Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 29-year-old Morata, who joined Juventus in September 2020 on a two-year loan deal with a buy option attached, has made 23 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1579 minutes. In that time, he has scored seven goals and provided three assists.
