Zlatan Ibrahimovic only has three months left on his contract with Milan and Monza are reportedly seriously interested in making him an offer.

The 41-year-old Swedish veteran returned to the Rossoneri in January 2020 on a free transfer and played an important role in their Scudetto success last season, being a dressing room leader and a point of reference on the pitch.

Ibrahimovic has been limited to just 144 minutes of Serie A action so far this season, making a large part of the season due to a serious knee operation, which was carried out last May.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Ibrahimovic is not ready to retire yet and wants to continue playing beyond this season, but his contract with Milan is rapidly drawing to a close.

The Rossoneri want to finish the season before deciding whether or not to give the Swede a new deal, and in the meantime Silvio Berlusconi’s Monza are seriously interested in making an offer.

TMW claims that Ibrahimovic has been offered a contract, worth around €1.5m net plus add-ons.
