Monza: Galliani in talks with Juventus and Madrid after signing Ranocchia

Monza have announced the signing of Andrea Ranocchia and are reportedly in talks with Juventus, Atalanta and Real Madrid to further strengthen the team.

The Biancorossi will play their first-ever Serie A campaign next season and have made former Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia their first summer signing, who will soon be followed by Cagliari‘s Alessio Cragno and Andrea Carboni.

Adriano Galliani is keeping himself busy these days and has already opened talks with many other clubs to bolster Giovanni Stroppa’s team next season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, their dream signing is Matteo Pessina, a product of the club’s academy, which would also be helpful to fill the Serie A list for next season, where every club must have players raised in the club’s academy. Talks with Atalanta are ongoing also for Nicolò Cambiraghi and Matteo Lovato.

Galliani is interested in Roma‘s Gonzalo Villar and Borja Mayoral and according to Sky Sport, he has contacted the Giallorossi and Real Madrid to discuss a possible transfer for the Spanish striker who is on loan at the Stadio Olimpico from Madrid.

The latest transfer meeting, which is currently ongoing in Milan, involves Monza and Juventus, with the newly promoted side asking for information about the Bianconeri starlet Fabio Miretti, who made his Serie A debut under Max Allegri last season.

SPAL and Italy midfielder Salvatore Esposito is also monitored by Monza, who are determined to get more than just a mere survival in their first top-flight campaign.
