Carlos Augusto has emerged as one of the brightest sparks in the Monza squad this season and has reportedly attracted serious attention from a number of top sides in Italy.

The Brazilian left back joined the Biancorossi in September 2020 from Corinthians for just €4m, placing trust in Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani’s project whilst the club was still in Serie B.

This has paid off and his market value has exploded following his impressive work in Serie A this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists across 29 league games for Monza.

As detailed by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Monza have no interest in selling Carlos Augusto this summer and have recently been in contact with his entourage to discuss a new contract. His current deal expires in June of next year.

Juventus have already made a move for the 24-year-old Brazilian left back and Inter have sent scouts to observe the player on a number of occasions this season. Milan are also keen, but his €20m valuation has pushed them to pursue other targets. Multiple clubs from abroad have also expressed their interest.

Without concrete offers worth over €20m, however, Monza will not sell Carlos Augusto this summer.
