Monza are in talks with ex-Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi, while Andrea Colpani continues to be courted by Fiorentina, who gave Marin Pongracic his medical.

Former Milan CEO Adriano Galliani was always one of the smartest operators on the transfer market and is continuing his machinations now that he is at the helm of Monza.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Galliani is at dinner this evening with Sensi and his agent to discuss personal terms.

The midfielder is a free agent after his contract with Inter was allowed to expire on June 30 and will turn 29 next month.

It would be a return to Monza, because he already played there on loan from Inter in the 2022-23 campaign, but his career was derailed over the years by repeated injury problems.

Sensi in for Monza, Colpani out

Meanwhile, Monza are also in talks to sell Colpani to Fiorentina, where he would reunite with ex-Monza coach Raffaele Palladino.

The 25-year-old creative midfielder and support striker had a very impressive season, scoring eight goals and providing four assist in 38 Serie A appearances.

The Viola have been very active on the transfer market and today Lecce defender Pongracic underwent his medical, having snubbed an already-agreed move to Stade Rennais.
