“The decision of the Coach not to even consider him must be respected, even if it has gone beyond the limits of logic,” agent Giovanni Branchini told Radio Deejay.
“I don’t want to talk about this being a bullying scenario, but it’s difficult to think Montolivo has suddenly become the 27th most reliable player in terms of quality and reliability at Milan.
“Do they think he has a contagious disease? Montolivo hasn’t even taken part in a training ground game between ranks since May 13.”
There are reports Milan froze him out after refusing to leave over the summer, while there is now interest from Genoa and Cesare Prandelli for January.
“I don’t know if Genoa want him, but I do know Montolivo has never rejected a transfer.”
