Adana Demirspor boss Vincenzo Montella says he expects more from Mario Balotelli following their clash on the pitch last night.

The Italians clashed following Adana Demirspor’s 1-0 win over Umraniyespor on Saturday. Montella was clearly unhappy with the attitude of the ex-Inter and Milan striker and showed his frustration on the pitch right after the final whistle (VIDEO).

Balotelli reacted and almost came to blows with his coach. The pair had to be divided by some of Vincenzo Montella’s staff members.

The ex-Serie A striker refused to comment on what happened after the game but said he expects to see something different from his striker.

“I can only say that we expect more from him,” Montella said at a post-match press conference, as quoted by Gazzetta.

“These things can happen at the end of a game. Sometimes adrenaline makes you say other things, but to me, it ends here.”

Balotelli hasn’t said anything to reporters or reacted on social media. The Italian striker has scored 19 goals in 33 appearances with the Turkish side which he joined last year.

  1. His brain must be deteriorating at a rapid rate because he gets noticeably dumber every time he pops up.
