Turkey national team coach Vincenzo Montella has opted to call up three players to his 35-man provisional squad ahead of the EURO 2024 tournament in Germany this summer.

The former Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Milan coach has selected three players from three different Serie A clubs on the Turkey longlist, including one from league champions Inter, one from Juventus and one from Daniele De Rossi’s Roma.

The three Serie A representatives included in the Turkey provisional squad are Giallorossi full-back Zeki Celik, recently crowned Serie A midfielder of the year Hakan Calhanoglu, and Juventus starlet Kenan Yildiz.

All three are tipped to make the cut for the final, 26-man squad, for the tournament that will begin on June 14. Turkey’s first outing will fall four days later against Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s Georgia.
