Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella has praised Lazio tactician Vladimir Petkovic ahead of Sunday’s Serie A clash between the two teams.
Petkovic surprisingly replaced Edy Reja in the summer after the latter quit the capital club and he’s been a revelation.
“He has proved himself to be a great Coach,” Montella noted. “He’s a really balanced individual, he has a good way of working and he has adapted well to Serie A.
“He has some great footballing ideas and charisma too.”
Lazio are joint third in the top flight thanks to their 18 points – six more than Montella’s sixth placed Viola.
