Babacar made his comeback from injury, replacing Mario Gomez and securing the 2-1 win in Verona at the 94th minute.
“We put in a great performance, albeit with a few too many mistakes. The team remained consistent and above all changed gear in the second half,” Montella told Rai Sport.

“It is a precious victory and a deserved one, despite the fact Chievo put in a strong performance too. At times the Coach gets a few decisions right… We are all very happy for Babacar, but above all for the three points.
“Tatarusanu made some fine saves and we knew he was a goalkeeper of great quality. Cuadrado struggles a little more as a support striker, but he’s improving in that role and can attack the space.”
