Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella said Antonio Conte is “the best choice” for Italy Coach.
The decision was formalised on Thursday, ex-Juventus tactician Conte signing a two-year contract.
“Conte has proved himself to be a winning Coach and at this moment I think he’s the right man to lead the Nazionale,” said Montella in a Press conference today.
“It’s the right choice, as he is the best Coach in circulation.”
