Fiorentina Coach Vincenzo Montella calls for ‘confidence and courage’ from his side to beat Juventus tomorrow.
The Viola are coming off the back of two consecutive defeats, and lost 3-0 to the Bianconeri in their last meeting in the Coppa Italia.
“It left a bitter taste,” Montella admitted when asked about the cup tie in his pre-match Press conference.
“We were very disappointed with that game, but we know how good Juventus are. Tomorrow we’ll have courage and confidence to try and get the better of Juventus.

“I expect a very difficult match, against a team which has won the League three years in a row and is close to making it four, but we must have confidence in ourselves.
“It’s an important game, and we’ll have the right motivation. I don’t know who’ll be more angry between ourselves and them [Juventus also lost at the weekend].
“We had a bad game on Sunday [against Cagliari] and we take responsibility for that, myself included, but we have to look forward and go back to being the team we’ve been in recent years.
“We’re angry, and we’ll use that on the pitch in the next game.”
Sections of Juventus Stadium may be closed to supporters after violence in the Derby della Mole, but Montella believes that would be unfair on innocent supporters.
“These are serious incidents. We have to do something, I’ve always said that.
“I do not think, however, that’s it’s right to also bar the people who have nothing to do with what happened.”
