Vincenzo Montella has told super-agent Mino Raiola to be quiet over comments made about Gigi Donnarumma.
The young Milan goalkeeper has been hugely impressive for the Rossoneri and looks set to be offered a new contract at the club.
However, his agent Raiola stated in an interview that his client deserved to be richly rewarded financially by the San Siro club, otherwise ‘what jewel is he?’

The young Milan goalkeeper has been hugely impressive for the Rossoneri and looks set to be offered a new contract at the club.
However, his agent Raiola stated in an interview that his client deserved to be richly rewarded financially by the San Siro club, otherwise ‘what jewel is he?’
“He [Donnarumma] can make Milan history,” Montella told Milan TV. “Raiola can be quiet, Milan will renew his contract with or without him.”
The Diavolo boss then looked ahead to Tuesday night’s home Serie A meeting with Lazio.
“They are a developing team who are already familiar with each other. That can be an advantage. They know how to adapt well to the opposition and they are very strong on set pieces.”
“Playing three times in a week means you have to rotate. It is important to play as many players as possible.”
Finally, the Coach answered questions on Riccardo Montolivo, Giacomo Bonaventura and Carlos Bacca.
“I am assessing it, today I will have a better idea of how the boys [Montolivo and Bonaventura] are.
“Tomorrow morning I will decide, though I will know more today. I don’t like making more than one change per position.
“He [Bacca] did well, with the determination that I demand from everyone. I always expect that from players who come on as substitutes.”
