FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio believes it was ‘a mistake’ to move the Derby della Capitale to this afternoon.
The match had orginally been scheduled for Sunday at 2pm UK time, but after Lazio’s Coppa Italia final with Juventus was moved, the game was pushed back to Monday.
Roma have expressed their displeasure at the move, and it seems the head of the Federation agrees with them.

“Changing the calendar is a mistake,” Tavecchio said in an interview with Radio Uno.
“I’d have left the schedule as it was, but the Lega [Serie A] decides on the calendars, not the Federation.
“We can’t always be blamed for situations which depend on others, Tavecchio did not change the calendar.”
