Sevilla sporting director Monchi claims the La Liga side are not interested in Milan‘s Samu Castillejo and rules out Papu Gomez’s Serie A return.
The Argentinean’s agent Beppe Riso had not excluded a return to Serie A for the former Atalanta man, but Monchi denied the 33-year-old is coming back to Italy.
“Papu is happy here and we are happy about him, I think his path has just begun,” Monchi told Sky Sport Italia.
Sevilla have also been linked with Sassuolo‘s Gian Marco Ferrari and Milan’s Samu Castillejo, who does not appear to be a target for the La Liga side.
“Ferrari is a good player, but we are not in talks to sign him. The same goes for Castillejo, we have many players in his position.”
