Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed the Argentine is close to joining Sevilla, who have, according to TMW offered a loan deal with an option to buy for €8m.
Atalanta want €10m for the playmaker, but could be willing to let him go for less to Spain and avoid selling to an Italian rival.

SportItalia spoke to Monchi about the reports and the former Roma director revealed Sevilla are in talks with La Dea.
“We are working on it, but there’s still a long way,” he said.
The reports are pointing in that direction, however, and Gomez could be on his way out of Italy.
