Monaco push for Dalbert

Monaco are reportedly close to a deal for Inter full-back Dalbert, a €3m loan with a €24m option to buy.

The Brazilian was involved in a protracted transfer saga last summer, eventually joining the Nerazzurri from Nice for around €20m.

However, the 24-year-old struggled to convince Coach Luciano Spalletti, and made just five Serie a starts all season.

Reports from France last month stated that the left-back’s most likely destination was Monaco, and Sky Italia believes a deal is close.

The Ligue 1 side are offering a €3m loan with a €24m option to buy, and a deal could be concluded quickly.

It’s not clear if that option would become an obligation after a certain number of appearances.
