AS Monaco have raised their offer for Denis Zakaria, but Sky Sport Italia insist it is still not enough to convince Juventus into a sale.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Chelsea with an option to buy, which the Stamford Bridge side decided not to activate in the summer.

He is not part of the Bianconeri’s plans for this term and has been linked with numerous clubs, including West Ham United, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and RC Lens.

Monaco are the over-riding favourites and Sky Sport Italia claim they took a step closer to an agreement by raising their proposal to €22m including add-ons.

However, Juve are holding firm at their €25m asking price and are confident Monaco will eventually strike a deal at that price, or at least very near to it.

The Old Lady paid €10m to sign Zakaria from Borussia Monchengladbach in January 2022 and pocketed €3m from the one-season loan at Chelsea.
