Monaco: ‘El Shaarawy will leave’

Monaco also confirmed they are “in negotiations for Stephan El Shaarawy’s departure” to Roma via Milan.

This evening Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani told reporters they were “in talks with Roma for El Shaarawy.”

Any deal has to go through Monaco, as the Principality club took him on loan with an option to buy that would become mandatory at 25 games.

“El Shaarawy is not part of the Coach’s plans,” Monaco President Vadim Vasilyev said on the official club website.

“We are currently in negotiations for his departure.”

While Roma are leading the way, Genoa and Lazio are also interested in El Shaarawy.
